Project Brief
Given the restriction of regular 2"x4"x8' framing lumber as the only material, this design maximizes the usefulness of a chair meeting the comfortable width and a depth and a height of a seat with a backrest customized for my features. The chair demonstrates the search of an asymmetrical, unbalanced balance with a minimalistic approach. Designed to minimize the use of each piece of wood, displacing a piece from the design would either disrupt the comfort of the user or fail to withstand the weight.
